Bernard Perkosky, RA, AIA
A native of Tioga County, New York, residing in the Hamlet of Apalachin and a seasonal Resident of Jefferson County, New York with a Satellite Office and home in Cape Vincent. Mr. Perkosky received his Associate Degree in Civil Technology from Broome Technical Community College in 1968 with extensive experience in all aspects of the Civil & Architectural fields throughout his 48+ year career.
Mr. Perkosky is a Registered Architect (RA) and Licensed to practice Architecture in the State of New York. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA); the Southern New York Chapter of the AIA; and the Building Officials Association of the Southern Tier. Also he was a former member of the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce the Cape Vincent Chamber of Commerce and the Sacketts Harbour Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Perkosky is a member of the Local SNYAIA and served as its former Treasurer for its Chapter for several years.
He responds to Professional and Community affairs and has served as a part-time Instructor in courses related to Architecture at Broome Community College and has held a position as a Certified Building Inspector III and Code Enforcement Officer for two municipalities in the Tioga County area.
He has raised his family with his wife Carole since 1966, which includes three children and continues to enjoy them and his seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
